OCIA
What is OCIA?
OCIA, Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, is a process by which adults, through inquiry and prayer, become members of the Catholic Church.
Who is the OCIA for?
This process is for those:
1. Who may have been baptized Catholic but, for some reason, never were able to complete their Initiation into our beautiful faith through the Sacraments of Communion and Confirmation.
2. Who have been baptized in another Christian faith, but through the promptings of the Holy Spirit, would like to learn more about the Catholic faith and to one day become one with us at the Table of the Lord.
3. Who have been brought up in a different faith community but have been coming with their family and would like to unite with them at the Table of the Lord.
4. Who have been having these feelings, promptings of the Holy Spirit, that this is the faith where I am called to be.
Please contact Kathy Lieburn in the parish office or Lonny Lambrecht at (507) 923-1478. Text or call works either way.
